“ nice cafe if you’re looking for something simple or somewhere inside to hang out with a warm drink in between hikes. “ Beautiful spot to have a coffee & a sweet. Serves lunch & breakfast also alcohol. We got our high from the three falls hike..not the alcohol! Coffee had a good flavour & was strong & rich. Pleasant service too. ”

- Diana Waines -

“ We stopped for lunch on our way to more rugged and wild giant tree adventure nearby. Our felafel burger and spicy pumpkin soup with garlic cheese toast were both delicious. We had really nice glasses of Pinot gris too. We sat by a window gazing out at giant trees. Who are these people rating this place as average - they know not what they experience here. I wanted to buy mead on my return trip but we spent too long pursuing trails not on the map… Everyone was happy, warm, and helpful. I’ll drop by next time I visit from north of the equator. ”

“ I always stop here when I'm visiting Mt Field National Park. They have a wide range of coffees, burgers, sandwiches, and other awesome meals. Their chips are sensational, and the Chai Latte is divine. It is such a convenient place to have lunch before exploring Mount Field National Park and definitely worth the 90-minute drive from Hobart. They also have a small gift shop attached to the restaurant with some Tasmanian related products and is also adjacent to the visitor centre where you can get information about the national park. I've never had a bad experience here and completely recommend a visit. ”

“ I ordered a Burrito Bowl which was 10/10! My husband had the brekky which he loved. Perfect fuel prior to our hiking trip for the day. Staff were friendly and prompt. Very spacious cafe. Enjoyed looking in the gift store afterwards. ”

- Liisa Grace Baun -

“ Had the nachos (entree) and calamari. Potato chips appeared to be cooked from frozen, it would be great if they were hand cut from local potatoes. Calamari rings were very nice. The choice of dishes could use a little refresh, perhaps with some more modern options. ”

“ Beautiful place with amazing staff and delicious food.. ”

“ What a great place to visit after the walks around Mount Field. We ordered the burger and the burrito bowl, and both were delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the service prompt. Great way to end our morning. ”
